Warren King (snooker player)

Warren King (born 1 April 1955) is a former professional Australian snooker player. His best run in a ranking event was to the final of the Mercantile Credit Classic in 1990, where he lost 10-6 to Steve James.Warrens highest profesional ranking was 35. He qualified for the World Championship four times, but never progressed passed the first round.
Warren throughout his career had victories over players such as Stephen Hendry, Jimmy White, John Parrot, Alex Higgins, Terry Griffiths amongst others.

In 1994 playing in the NSW Open Snooker Championships Warren became the 1st Australian ever to make a maximum break (147) in a tournament.
It was also the 1st maximum break ever recorded in a tournament in Australia.
Warren won a car for the break and went on to win the tournament.
Warren then focussed more on playing American pool where he had numerous successes including the Oceania championships
and Numerous S.A. 9-ball titles.
